Buying
airplanes can be one of the most exciting and rewarding of aviation
adventures. Classic Aircraft is dedicated to helping both aircraft buyers
and sellers. When both are happy at the conclusion of the aircraft sale then it
has been conducted correctly. Classic Aircraft has acquired the experience of
several aircraft sales professionals to design and monitor our Aircraft
for Sale pages. The best way we can help aircraft buyers is to help the aircraft
sellers. Their challenge was to identify what potential aircraft buyers
needed and give it to them. This team has put together a fantastic Aircraft
for Sale module! With this current format and the many enhancements slated
for the future we will bring aircraft sales up to todays technology! We cannot
talk about these enhancements for obvious reasons but we can say their effects
will be revolutionary!
Classic
Aircrafts’ airplane for sale listing format is already a leader in the aviation
advertising industry. This means the most difficult part of an aircraft purchase
just got much easier. We bring the airplane of interest to the “showroom floor”
along with all of the associated information and documentation.
The
visual display of an expanded Aircraft for Sale listing is truly a
visual showcase. That means it is very interesting and pleasant to read and
view. It is designed with accommodations for up to 5 aircraft pictures,
each of which are expandable to full size. Our visual format does two
critically important things to help select an aircraft. The most
important objective is to display aircraft photos that really “show” the
airplane. Airplane pictures are very important to you as a buyer. We
give you higher quality aircraft photos and more of them!
The
second most important thing for buying aircraft is to have very complete
information that is well organized and easy to read. The fields and format we
have are very accommodating to the reader. We have even included a way to
attach documents to the aircraft ads. This means you can scan logbook entries,
AD compliance records, Weight and Balance data, anything the seller attached to
the airplane listing. Our custom aircraft listings format already contains many
of the fields that usually require a buyer to contact the seller and ask questions.
By helping to further narrow the selections prior to contact we are saving time
and increasing the chances of our customers getting exactly what they desire.
The
following are some inputs and ideas from our Professional Aviation Consulting
Team that may be helpful to potential aircraft buyers.
1.
Have a pre-purchase inspection
performed by a qualified Aviation Technician that specializes in that
particular aircraft type.
2.
Try to buy an aircraft with the
avionics you desire. On average they are much cheaper already installed.
3.
If you are planning to have the
paint and interior re-done to your liking buy the ugliest airplane that is
mechanically sound.
4.
Typically, complete and well
organized maintenance records reflect airplanes that have been cared for the best.
